Embark on an epic 3-day trek to Choquequirao, the “sister city” of Machu Picchu. Hike through the deep Apurímac Canyon, conquer steep trails, and explore ancient, crowd-free Inca ruins. This challenging journey offers breathtaking Andean landscapes and a truly authentic adventure into the heart of the Inca Empire.

We will depart from Cusco at 4:00 a.m., traveling by private transport toward Santa Teresa, enjoying beautiful views of Andean valleys and snow-capped mountains along the way.
Upon arrival in Santa Teresa, there will be time to have breakfast (not included) before continuing the journey. We will then proceed to Colpapampa, where we will take part in a Coffee Tour, learning about the traditional coffee production process and enjoying a tasting while interacting with local farmers.
After this experience, we will continue traveling toward Yanama, following a scenic route that transitions from cloud forest to highland landscapes. Upon arrival, we will settle in, enjoy dinner, and rest, preparing for the trekking days ahead.

After an early breakfast, we’ll visit Choquequirao once more to witness the sunrise illuminating the ruins and surrounding mountains — a truly magical moment. We’ll have free time to explore or simply enjoy the quiet majesty of the site before beginning our return trek to San Juan Pass.
Once we reach the pass, our private transport will be waiting to take us back to Cusco, arriving around 8:00 p.m., concluding this unforgettable adventure through the lost Inca citadel of Choquequirao.

After an early breakfast in Yanama, we will begin our journey back toward Cusco, enjoying the changing Andean landscapes along the way. The route takes us through high mountain passes, traditional villages, and scenic valleys, offering beautiful panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and remote rural areas.
Along the drive, we will make short stops to rest, take photos, and appreciate the surroundings. In the afternoon, we will continue descending toward the Cusco region, where the landscape gradually shifts from high-altitude terrain to greener valleys.
We will arrive in Cusco in the evening, where you will be transferred to your hotel, marking the end of this memorable Andean adventure.
